This "talking" pedometer measures steps taken (up to 99999), calories burned (0-9999.9), total distance in miles or kilometers, and total exercise time plus it comes with a super-loud 110 decibel panic alarm. Input stride length and weight for accurate distance and calories burned measurements. Unit speaks results at the touch of a button or at preset intervals. Features waist clip and nylon release cord that activates the panic alarm. Available in metallic silver with chrome buttons and black trim. Operates on four button cell batteries (L1154 – included). Gift boxed.
NOTE: Magnetic or mechanical pedometers measure levels of physical activity and they are not highly accurate. There is a +/- 10% deviation in accuracy on instruments of this type. Measurements will be influenced by the sensitivity settings, placement on the body and overall stride of the wearer. Pedometer must be placed on the waistband, not the pocket, to work properly.
