In addition to counting steps, this multifunction pedometer also counts calories burned, total distance traveled and has a 12/24-hour clock. Adjustments can be made in stride-length and body weight for a more accurate step count. Selectable in metric or English formats. A reverse hinge design opens the pedometer upside-down allowing you to view the LCD in the correct perspective - without removing it from your belt or pants. Available in silver, translucent blue, red and green. Operates on two lithium cell batteries (LR44) included. Gift boxed.
NOTE: Magnetic or mechanical pedometers measure levels of physical activity and they are not highly accurate. There is a +/- 10% deviation in accuracy on instruments of this type. Measurements will be influenced by the sensitivity settings, placement on the body and overall stride of the wearer. Pedometer must be placed on the waistband, not the pocket, to work properly.
